Bursa sits about 240 km and three motorway hours south of our Istanbul Beylikduzu base — the shortest real road trip you can make out of Istanbul by campervan.
We run a single pickup point, in Istanbul Beylikduzu, and we do not have a branch in Bursa — worth saying plainly. You can either collect the campervan yourself in Beylikduzu, or book scheduled delivery: we agree the dates in advance, quote a delivery fee based on distance, and bring the vehicle to your address in Bursa. The drive is roughly 240 km via the Northern Marmara Motorway and the Osmangazi Bridge, about three hours without traffic. Because the bridge toll is steep in the caravan class, many of our guests instead take the Eskihisar–Topcular car ferry from Gebze to Yalova: a 35-40 minute crossing, a similar total journey time and a noticeably lower cost. Ferry pricing depends on vehicle length, so confirm your class when you book.
Uludag is the headline route. The road from the city centre to the hotel zone climbs about 35 km of near-continuous switchbacks to nearly 2,000 metres. Fill up before you start, keep an eye on engine temperature and use engine braking on the way down. From December to March winter tyres and snow chains are effectively mandatory, and the climb is demanding even for experienced drivers. Sarialan and Cobankaya inside Uludag National Park are the usual overnight areas, though park entry rules change with the season. If you would rather skip the climb entirely, leave the campervan near the cable car base station at Teferruc and ride up instead.
The other side of Bursa is villages and lakeshores. Cumalikizik, a 700-year-old Ottoman village on the UNESCO World Heritage list, is only 12 km from the centre — its cobbled lanes are far too narrow for a campervan, so park at the village entrance and walk in. Golyazi, 35 km west on a small peninsula in Lake Uluabat, is quiet and easy to stop at. Trilye and Mudanya on the Marmara coast are 35-40 km away, with olive groves, old Greek houses and fish restaurants. Iznik lies 85 km east: lakeside camping areas, the city walls and the Hagia Sophia of Iznik all sit on one route. April-June and September-October are the most comfortable months; a 3-day rental covers the core loop comfortably.

Trilye - Mudanya
35-40 km away on the Marmara coast: olive groves, old Greek houses and fish restaurants. Best in spring and autumn.
Iznik Lake
85 km east; lakeside camping areas, Roman walls and the Hagia Sophia of Iznik. Roads are paved and easy with a caravan.
Golyazi - Lake Uluabat
35 km west, a quiet village built on a small peninsula. Far fewer visitors than the coast.
Oylat Thermal Springs - Inegol
About 70 km from the centre; forest-set thermal baths, a favourite stop in autumn and winter.
